Top 7 Ways To Make Your Ex Jealous On Facebook
I love Facebook because it’s the perfect medium for flirting and making boys jealous… especially ex boyfriends.
The problem is most girls have absolutely no idea what they’re doing when it comes to using Facebook to make their ex boyfriends jealous. They end up looking desperate, try-hard, vindictive or just plain sad.
As always, subtlety is key. The last thing you want to do is embarrass yourself in front of your mutual friends.
Here are the top 7 ways to make your ex boyfriend jealous on Facebook. Note that these only work if you were friends with your ex on Facebook prior to your breakup. Do NOT initiate a “friend request” after the breakup – that’s asking for trouble.

1. The status update.
Post twice a week at most. More, and you’ve got too much time on your hands. Make sure everything is about what you’re DOING, not what you’re THINKING.
Bad: “I’m so happy with my life!” (Trying too hard)
Good: “Off to Vegas with my sexy girlfriends!” (True, verifiable, and he’ll wonder what kind of trouble you were up to while you were gone).
2. Events.
Parties, professional gatherings, concerts. RSVP yes for them all, even if you don’t plan on going. Guys can’t stand when their girls have more active lives than themselves.
3. The Relationship Status.
If you were originally “In a relationship with (Boyfriend),” you want to be the first to change the status. Make sure that you set your privacy settings so nobody else sees the change on their news feeds! The last thing you want is a bunch of people asking, “OMG what happened??” It makes you look sad.
Do it quietly and matter-of-factly, to show you’ve moved on and aren’t clinging to the hope that you still have a chance together.
4. Photos.
This one is obvious. Go out a lot, and look HOT!
Don’t add or tag photos – let other people do it so it doesn’t look like you’re desperate for attention. Feel free to comment on photos though.
If a friend tags you in photos, and they aren’t set to be private, you can be sure your ex will look through them and wonder who all those guys hanging out with you are…
5. New friends.
Start adding more people to your friends on Facebook, making sure your ex boyfriend can see them in his news feed. Start slow, and mix it up between guys and girls so it seems natural. The more men your ex sees in your life, the more jealous he’ll get. Men are funny like that.
6. Chat with others.
Post on your friends’ walls – especially guy friends. When they write on your wall, REPLY ON YOUR OWN WALL – not theirs. You want your ex reading your conversations, wondering what you mean and who these people are. And you want him to keep doing so until he catches himself reading everything on your wall, wondering why he’s spending so much time thinking about you.
7. Contact with your ex.
If you play your cards right, your ex will initiate contact with you on Facebook somehow. Make sure you don’t initiate.
If he simply makes a comment on a photo or something, don’t respond. If he does something that warrants a response, like sends a message or posts on your Wall, keep your messages friendly but shorter and less engaged than his.
Remember to keep the frame: he’s chasing you. Always. Even if he’s the one who broke up with you.

The great thing is, none of these Facebook tactics are explicit, but will still get your boyfriend insanely jealous. Now get out there and start Facebooking yourself back into your man’s life.
